Stride-by-Pace Instructions for Drawing a Compass Rose
1. Brainstorm by cartoon a small circle. This forms the eye of the compass.
2. Extend 4 sets of lines from the compass heart. Each set up should meet at a sharp betoken. These are called rays and indicate the four fundamental directions.
3. Draw a direct line down the center of each ray.
iv. Draw two circles around the center of the compass. Find how they are partially hidden by the rays.
